Great Barrington Public Theater keeps high-quality theater affordable and accessible to everyone. Our theater is called PUBLIC for a reason. We want you to be involved, to be a part of the company.
If you love seeing great new work in the Berkshires and want to support local artists, we need your support. Only about 10% of our annual budget is operating overhead. 90% of revenue goes to artists, technicians, and materials. Your contribution makes production of new plays possible.

Great Barrington Public Theater was established in 2019 to create opportunities for theater artists and theater lovers in the Berkshires.
We spotlight the many top playwrights, actors, directors, designers, and technicians in our towns and neighboring areas. We present compelling, provocative new plays that leap off the stage, throughout the summer and throughout the year at Saint James Place, located in Great Barrington, MA .
